Estos días celebramos la llegada de primavera y ahora pronto vendrá la semana dorada, no se exactamente de que se trata pero aparentemente es una serie de días festivos en consecutivo, lo cual me parece un gran y merecido descanso para la gente que trabaja tanto.

Now spring is arriving at last in Sapporo and I’ve been hearing a lot about the golden week, apparently is a row of consecutive holidays, celebrating the emperor’s birthday, constitution’s and children’s day, a really great and welcome relaxing time for those who work so hard.

Recientemente se celebro la semana santa y pascua en muchos países hispanos, que también son una serie de días festivos pero con una connotación mas que todo religiosa y la mayoría de gente usa estos días para reflexionar, meditar, visitar templos, asistir a multitudinarias y coloridas procesiones, sin olvidar que es un tiempo de descanso y reflexión

Just last week in most of western countries, people were celebrating Easter, a time full of traditions, visits to churches, meditation and dining in different ways

Are famous the Easter eggs, the Easter bunny and the large crowds marching together with sculptures symbolizing people’s beliefs

también en los países anglosajones se celebra Easter, que es una celebración de tipo religioso y que muchos sobretodo los niños disfrutan junto al conejo y los huevos de pascua

Pero hoy en día muchos esperamos esta época para tomar unas cortas vacaciones en el primer cuarto del año y aprovechar la llegada de un sol mas cálido.

Personalmente, disfruto mucho de las celebraciones, y quisiera compartir, algunas imágenes de como se celebran estas tradiciones alrededor del mundo; todo comienza en febrero, el tiempo que la gente cristiana llama cuaresma, que son cuarenta días antes de semana santa, para este tiempo son muy populares los carnavales

Personally I enjoy so much celebrations, so I like to share some images of how people celebrate around the world.

Everything starts in February before lent season, lent is a period of 40 days, before Easter, and in this time there’s some big celebrations and carnivals in some countries,

for example the Rio Carnival in Brazil

So lots of nice celebrating and partying time, before going under meditation and repentance for Easter days

Siempre me ha sorprendido, el índice de la expectativa de vida en Japón,

y si observas un poco a tu alrededor, de das cuenta que muchas personas de avanzada edad, pueden valerse por si mismas, caminar por las calles a veces en condiciones climáticas extremas y hasta a veces disfrutar de unas buenas copitas.

Ahora me doy cuenta de la importancia de la comida saludable y la actividad física y del impacto de esto en nuestra salud

Por todo esto he estado explorando diferentes clases de vegetales, peces y mariscos y me parece que Japón es un muy buen lugar para vivir, cuando eliges un saludable estilo de vida

I’ve been always amazed of how high the life expectancy is in Japan, and now if you look close around you can notice that lots of people who come to age are able to stand for themselves and manage to walk the streets, have an active lifestyle, and even enjoy a few drinks sometimes.

Now I realize the importance of healthy food and physical activity and the impact of that on our life.

So I have been trying to explore a bit all different kinds of vegetable and sea produce, and Japan is a really lovely place to live a healthy lifestyle

En febrero todos los años se celebra el muy conocido festival de la nieve en Sapporo. Muchos turistas lo visitan a pesar de las bajas temperaturas aunque este año el sol derritió un poco algunas de ellas, e incluso una colapso,

 de cualquier manera fue agradable y la combinación de el azul del cielo y el blanco de la nieve es uno de mis matices preferidos

In February every year one of the most well known Hokkaido festivals, It takes place in the middle of winter and is visited for many tourists around the world who come to appreciate the lovely carvings in the ice and the snow, it gives some kind of artistic character  to this artic weather.

Y a pesar de venir del  trópico y de llevar tan solo medio año viviendo en una de las ciudades mas frías , estos son mis sugerencias para afrontar el frio invierno y de como llegar a disfrutarlo.

Es primer invierno en Japón y dicen, ha sido uno de los mas fríos, alcanzando records de nieve  y tiempo extremo, cosa que esperaba con mucha expectativa,  ahora mas dolor que expectativa, sin embargo, no hay por que renegar del invierno sin sacarle un poco de buen partido.

La navidad y el año nuevo hacen que el tiempo pase muy rápido, diciembre siempre es indulgente en sus celebraciones y festejar nunca está de sobra en estas fechas
